Why did I become a photographer?
The easy answer is that it comes naturally to me. For the first time in my life I am able to do something that I am good at, enjoy and it just flows.
But that harder answer, the one that really hurts because it means the most is because of a day in January 2014. This was a day when I didn’t seize the moment and I didn’t take the photo, that’s the day that sticks to me like tar.
I am honestly trying to find the right words to describe this session but I just find myself scrolling back and forth and the beauty of these moments give me goosebumps. So with feelings like these, you don’t really need words from me.

I am located a long way from very little and even further from something, so in short … YES, I travel!
My travel dates are posted on my website and as soon as I know … you will too. I do charge a travel fee however, if you catch me while I am in your area then your session will be FREE from those extra fees.

I get asked all the time, where are you from? I live on a cattle property in North Western Queensland, Gilberton Station, it is 460km North West of Townsville or 540km South West of Cairns. Our back yard is 35 600 hectares and is home to roughly 2000 head of cattle along with countless native wildlife. I live on the property with my husband and two tiny (or not quite so tiny anymore) ferals, as well has his parents, sister and her fiancé.

I have a soft spot for mother/daughter relationships, probably because I spent so much time with my Mum growing up. They are a mix of love and turmoil, calm one minute and stormy the next. It is a powerful and beautiful thing when all the girls have is each other but it is also a relationship that is often filled with struggle.
